Introduction
The Navenio Intelligent Location Solution (ILS) Tracking Portal enables users to track a range of BTLE tags (also referred to as beacons) attached to mobile assets of interest. Asset information is displayed on the portal screen, detailing each asset's location and when the location was last confirmed, along with the asset's type, status, owner and the beacon's battery power status. It also enables mobile phone handlers to be located.
Navenio’s unique BTLE-based asset tracking solution does not require any additional infrastructure in the building. Beacons are implicitly localised through ILS-enabled smartphones carried by mobile phone handlers in the venue. In this way, Navenio’s smartphone-based localisation technology enables asset and mobile phone handler localisation avoiding the need for expensive RFID, UWB, acoustic or other fixed beacons. Other benefits of this solution are that it does not require building surveys nor maintenance of fixed infrastructure, while it offers users explicit early warnings when there is a need to change the asset tag batteries so that they can seamlessly continue to track the assets.
The ILS documentation is divided by product and by information type. This document provides information about the ILS Tracking Portal. It can be accessed via the application online. It contains information and examples related to the ILS Portal.
